1879-1883 For a few year they lived in LaGrange County, Indiana 1884- They moved to Cadillac, Mi. 1885- They moved to a farm East of Sherman, Mi. Later to a farm one mile west of the original. 1929 They moved to a house in Sherman, Mi. 1929 Aug 14th They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Attended by friends and neighbors, their children and grandchildren; Elizabeth Frisbey, Douglas Boyd of LaGrange, In. and the Henry Franke family of Grand Rapids. They were members of the herman M.E. Church. Bert liked to fish the streams around his home for trout and they were both full of fun and life, they were very hospitable and one always had a good time at their home. Douglas, Urias, and Phillip visited Corrinda at the same time and renewed pranks of their youth.

      Orena was a telephone operator, Sherman, 
      Michigan.  They both worked for the 
      telephone co. in Detroit.  She cared for
      her mother untl her death.

Oliver Winfred Hessam
     b. Dec. 7, 1880, Manistee Co., Mi.

        on the railroad.  Buried at Sherman, Mo.

where Fred did extensive farming on a large acreage.  Over two years after Carrie's death he married her sister Ruth.
