1836 Delilah was a small child when her parents moved from Pennsylvania to Tuscarawas Co., Ohio.
1842 They moved to Elkhart twp., Noble Co., In
1840 After the death of their parents John Frick and his brother Christian Frick, came to America., They settled in Tuscarawas Co., Ohio where he married Magdalene Klossner. They had four children:

Mary E, B b. July 20, 1849. Married Joe Zimmerman. she died Oct. 20, 1922

1850-52 John and Christian Frick came to Noble Co, Indiana
1852, April 11, Magdalene (Klossner) died.
John Frick settled one and one half miles east of Springfield, later named cosperville, Indiana. He and his brother cleared ground in the wilderness and built homes a short distance apart. Christian married Emily Dukes and they had 11 children. a number of his grandchildren lived in Northern Indiana. Ford Frick, Baseball Commissioner of New York was his grandson.
When Delilah Boyd married John Frick, he was a widower with four small children ranging in age one thru seven. They had a large family together. she was a busy mother and housewife.
